WORK

OCEANS, INLETS, AND MARSHES

I’m captivated by the color of the air and the endless space found along the coast of New England. Most of my seascapes and marshes are painted in the studio, because… greenheads, wind, blowing sand, and little gnats.

Woods and Meadows

From the complex tangle of woods, to the airy minimalism of meadows, the New England landscape is in a continual state of flux.  I suppose that’s why I never tire of recording it.

INTERSECTIONS

Settings where the natural world intersects with the manmade trip my attention. There’s something about this intersection, the humble precision of manmade structures competing with nature’s casual confidence, that I find intriguing.
