I’m captivated by the color of the air and the infinite space found along the coast of New England. The color palettes are endless, the quality of light differs from day to day. Most of my landscapes are painted in the studio, giving me the opportunity to revisit settings that intrigue and inspire me.
Woods and Meadows
From the complex tangle of woods, to the airy minimalism of meadows, the New England landscape is in a continual state of flux. I suppose that’s why I never tire of recording it.
INTERSECTIONS
Settings where the natural world intersects with the manmade trip my attention. There’s something about this intersection, the humble precision of manmade structures competing with nature’s casual confidence, that I find intriguing.
